Earthly Balm’s unique blend of 28 sun-loving plants and prana-energy herbs selected as antioxidants combine with non-micronized zinc oxide* to synergistically lock in the skin’s moisture barrier while protecting against environmental toxins & stress, such as the effects of the sun**, wind, and extreme temperatures. Use this extreme balm when outdoors to protect against the elements.
*Although zinc oxide can be found naturally in the earth, it is by definition inorganic, and therefore unable to be included in certified organic products, regardless of how many other organic ingredients are included. This is why this is our only product that is not certified organic (aside from our 2 soaps). Please see full list of ingredients.
**Even though zinc has been proven as a safe and natural mineral that blocks harmful sun rays, we cannot legally call Earthy Balm a sunscreen since we are not registered as a drug company under the FDA and Earthy Balm has not been tested for a SPF rating.
